​Michigan Highway 294 is a short north-south route on the south side of Battle Creek, Michigan.  The northern end is at Michigan Highway 96, and this northern end is already on the southern side of Battle Creek. From there, Michigan Highway 294 radiates farther outward from the center of Battle Creek, ending two miles to the south-southeast.  The southern end of Michigan Highway 294 is at Interstate 94.

My photo of Michigan Highway 294 comes from the northern end at Michigan Highway 96.  The signage depicted is the first southbound trailblazer, seen by drivers who turn off of Michigan Highway 96. This photo was taken in August 2020, returning from a trip to the Upper Peninsula, Mackinac Island, Traverse City, and Lansing.
