Ohio State Route 320 is a very short north-south connector, found on the western edge of Ohio. The route begins in New Paris, Ohio, and it heads south from there. This is in the vicinity of Richmond, Indiana, or where Interstate 70 crosses the state line between Ohio and Indiana. The north end in New Paris, to be more specific, occurs shortly after Ohio Route 121 crosses out of Indiana. Ohio Route 121 enters New Paris from the west, and turns north at the central junction in town. This central junction is where Ohio Route 320 spawns toward the south. Ohio Route 320 will never be more than a couple of miles from the Indiana state line. On its short southward journey, Ohio Route 320 crosses US Route 40 and passes over Interstate 70 with no interchange. After about two and a half miles, Ohio Route 320 bends southeasterly to meet an intersection with US Route 35, where it ends. US Route 35 or US Route 40 can be used as a means to accessing Interstate 70.
My photo of Ohio Route 320 signage comes from its southeastern end at US Route 35. At this point, US Route 35 has just diverted from a concurrency along Interstate 70 to head southeasterly into Eaton. The photo looks southeasterly at signage that serves the southeasterly drivers on US Route 35; it points out the location of the right turn onto Ohio Route 320. An Interstate 70 guide marker points down Ohio Route 320, meant for locals trying to find access to Interstate 70 westbound (access is provided via a further turn onto US Route 40). This photo was taken in October 2018, on the way to Dayton, Cincinnati, and other points in southwestern Ohio. Back to Ohio Routes 300-499. Back to the Ohio main page. Back to the home page.
