Ohio State Route 150 is a short east-west highway in the easternmost reaches of east-central Ohio. It runs across southern Jefferson County, but it does not enter any other counties. The western end of Ohio Route 150 is at US Route 250 near Harrisville, a tiny town about ten miles northwest of Bridgeport (and Wheeling, West Virginia). On its way toward the east from there, Ohio Route 150 passes through Mount Pleasant and Dillonvale. The eastern end is in Rayland at Ohio Route 7, which is an expressway at this point. The frontage roads along Ohio Route 7 can carry travelers north to ramps providing access to and from the expressway. Ohio Route 7 is known for running along the Ohio River; the West Virginia panhandle is just across the river from Ohio Route 150's eastern endpoint.
My photo of Ohio State Route 150 is the first westbound trailblazer found west of Ohio Route 7, in Rayland. If accessing Ohio Route 150 from the Ohio Route 7 expressway, ramps will deposit you on frontage roads. Take the frontage road to the south, then turn westerly to see the true beginning of Ohio Route 150, and this sign. This photo was taken in March 2021 as part of the grand tour around the southeastern quarter of Ohio.
