^Looking west from US Route 421 north of Delphi, August 2024.
Indiana State Route 114 occupies a lot of east-west mileage in northern Indiana, in three separate segments. The western segment starts at US Route 41 in Morocco and heads east through Rensselaer to end at US Route 421 in the southwestern corner of Pulaski County. The second segment is short, running from Indiana Route 17 to Indiana Route 25 in southern Fulton County. The third segment of Indiana Route 114 runs from Indiana Route 14 in Akron, east almost all the way to Fort Wayne, to an endpoint along US Route 24. As is the case with all of the discontinuous Indiana 3-digit routes, I don't see why these routes aren't given three separate 3-digit numbers ending with the same pair of digits.
An older photo once served as the featured photo for this route, but it has been replaced by a new photo, appearing up next. If you're looking for the older photo, I kept it here, but it appears at the bottom of the page, now.
My photo for Indiana Route 114 shows a westbound trailblazer seen by those leaving US Route 421 south of Francesville. US Route 421 and Indiana Route 114 meet at an intersection home to the eastern end of Indiana Route 114's western segment. This scene looks west from there. This photo was taken in August 2024, while I was on my way to the Cincinnati area using some back roads.
The older photo, formerly featured on this page, appears next.
This older photo for Indiana Route 114 is the eastbound trailblazer at its very westernmost extent, at US Route 41 in Morocco. This photo you see here was taken in February 2017.
