^A northbound trailblazer seen a mile north of US Route 20, near Lyons, October 2023.
Ohio State Route 109 is a north-south highway in northwestern Ohio. Ohio Route 109 a lot like Ohio Route 108; it runs north-south just east of Ohio Route 108, and it's almost the same exact length. The northern extent reaches the Michigan state line, where the highway becomes Michigan Highway 52. This northern terminus of Ohio Route 109 is very near the small town of Lyons, Ohio. From there, Ohio Route 109 runs south through an interchange with the Ohio Turnpike to the town of Delta. Near Liberty Center, Ohio Route 109 crosses US Route 24 and the Maumee River. Ohio Route 109 runs through a couple very small towns before ending in Ottawa, at US Route 224.
My photo of Ohio State Route 109 comes from an intersection with a local road one mile north of US Route 20. The town of Lyons sits a mile or two northwest of this scene, showing a northbound trailblazer. This photo was taken during the northwestern Ohio trip of October 2023. Back to Ohio Routes 100-199.
