Indiana State Route 750 doesn't exist anymore, but I wanted to show off my photo for it anyway. Indiana Route 750 used to be the northern bypass for US Route 50 around North Vernon. This temporary designation applied to the partially-finished bypass while other pieces of it were under construction; US Route 50 still continued through downtown North Vernon as construction continued. Finally, in 2018, the bypass was finished, and US Route 50 was rerouted onto the bypass, leaving the alignment through downtown unsigned. Indiana Route 750 is just signed as US Route 50 nowadays.
My photo for Indiana Route 750 was taken on the last day of April 2018, soon before the designation's death. This photo is a junction marker for northbound traffic on Indiana Route 7. I think it's interesting that the two main highways intersecting Route 750 were Route 7...and Route 50. (There's Indiana Route 3, too, but that's not interesting.) Back to the Indiana main page.
