Ohio State Route 204 stems easterly out of the Columbus metropolitan area toward the Zanesville area. It runs in northern Fairfield County and northern Perry County. The western beginning occurs at Ohio Route 256, just south of Interstate 70. This western beginning is where Pickerington meets Reynoldsburg; these are two eastern suburbs of Columbus. Ohio Route 204 heads east from here, paralleling Interstate 70 to the south. It runs around the south side of Buckeye Lake, passing through Millersoprt and Thornville. Ohio Route 204 passes to the north of Somerset, to reach Glenford and Mount Perry instead. At Mount Perry, Ohio Route 204 dives south a couple miles to link with US Route 22 and come to a close.
My photo for Ohio State Route 204 shows the eastbound trailblazer seen by those leaving Ohio Route 13. Ohio Route 204 meets Ohio Route 13 at a 4-way intersection near Thornville. Turning to the east away from the intersection will yield this scene. This photo was taken toward the tail end of the southeastern Ohio tour of March, 2021. Back to Ohio Routes 200-299.
