Michigan Highway 11 is an "L"-shaped surface route confined to the Grand Rapids metro area. The northwestern end is at exit 25 from Interstate 96, and Michigan Highway 11 proceeds southerly from there. Almost all of the north-south portion of Michigan Highway 11 is in the town of Walker, a western suburb of Grand Rapids. At Grandville, another western suburb, Michigan Highway 11 bends easterly as it passes through an interchange with Interstate 96. From here onward, Michigan Highway 11 heads due east along 28th Avenue, the main east-west thoroughfare through Wyoming and a major route through the southeast side of Grand Rapids. The eastern end of Michigan Highway 11 is at Interstate 96, just like the opposite end. Exit 43 from Interstate 96 marks the eastern end of Highway 11.
My photo for Michigan Highway 11 depicts the eastbound reassurance marker for cars departing the interchange with Interstate 196 in Grandville. I took this photo on the way home from Traverse City in March, 2018. I made a pit stop at the Shell-branded gas station in the background.
