Indiana State Route 331 is a north-south route in north-central Indiana, serving as the main north-south route through Mishawaka and continuing south from there toward Rochester. Indiana Route 331 ends shy of Rochester, but Indiana Route 25 can be used to continue the rest of the way to that locale. The northern end is at a diagonal Indiana Route 23, near Granger, the Michigan state line, and an interchange with the Indiana Toll Road (Interstates 80 and 90). Indiana Route 23 can carry travelers farther northeastward into Michigan.
An older photo for Indiana Route 331 once took center stage on this page. That older photo is at the bottom of the page, and the new featured photo for the route is right here:
My official photo for Indiana Route 331 shows a guide marker for those leaving the Indiana Toll Road (Interstates 80 and 90). Whether they're coming from the east or the west on the Toll Road, the trumpet spur interchange points the exiting traffic westward for a brief moment. Those drivers can see this guide marker pointing out the turn onto Indiana Route 331 itself. This all happens in Mishawaka, Indiana, where I stopped to take this photo in July, 2024.
