Indiana runs from Lafayette, east-southeasterly to Richmond, Indiana.  This puts it a bit north of Indianapolis, passing through locales like Frankfort and Noblesville.  The western end in Lafayette is at US Route 52, and the eastern end is at US Route 35 just north of Interstate 70 and Richmond.

My photo of Indiana Route 38 is at the four-way intersection with Indiana Route 109 at Markleville, or south of Anderson.  The sign assembly I chose faces south toward traffic on northbound Route 109, because sign assemblies with a southern exposure are lit better (in the northern hemisphere), and because the gas station at the northeast corner provided a safe place to park.
