^Ohio 25 moves northward into Perrysburg, October 2023.
Ohio State Route 25 is a north-south route in Toledo and points nearby to the south. It is a main route through downtown Toledo. Ohio Route 25 marks a former alignment used by US Route 25 when it used to extend north into Michigan. The northern end is an interchange with Interstate 280 just south of that freeway's northern end. Ohio Route 25 heads south-southwesterly through downtown Toledo. It joins US Route 24 and US Route 20 through Maumee to cross southeasterly over the Maumee River. The bridge over the river lands Ohio Route 25 into Perrysburg, where the route turns southerly through an interchange with Interstate 475. Ohio Route 25 proceeds into rural territory after this, soon serving Bowling Green. Ohio Route 25 continues a bit further south to finally end at an interchange with Interstate 75 at Cygnet, Ohio.
My photo of Ohio State Route 25 signage comes from an intersection in Perrysburg. A northbound Ohio Route 25 splits from Findlay Street onto Boundary Street, veering slightly to the left. The signage depicted sits at the gore point, explaining the slight left turn made by the state highway. This photo was taken in October 2023, during a trip to Sandusky and the Lake Erie Islands.
