Indiana State Route 149 is a north-south route in northwestern Indiana, descending south from Burns Harbor to near Valparaiso.  The northern end in Burns Harbor is at US Route 12, and the southern end is at Indiana Route 130 just northwest of downtown Valparaiso.

My main photo for Indiana Route 149 shows the northern end marker at US Route 12, in Burns Harbor.  The old photo, shown below, also comes from the same intersection. This end marker, facing south, was seen during a drive toward Cincinnati using some back roads, in August 2024.
