Ohio State Route 119 is an east-west route in west-central Ohio. The highway begins as Indiana State Route 26 crosses the state line into Mercer County, Ohio. While heading east across Mercer County, Ohio Route 119 passes through the towns of Fort Recovery, St. Henry, and Maria Stein. As it passes through the southern panhandle of Auglaize County, it serves the small town of Minster, where it meets Ohio Route 66. Next, Ohio Route 119 enters Shelby County, where it meets Ohio Route 25 and Interstate 75 at the small town of Anna, north of Sidney. The next piece of Ohio Route 119 beyond Anna is the last six-mile piece. Ohio Route 119 ends at Ohio Route 65, a few miles south of Jackson Center.
My photo of Ohio State Route 119 signage comes from the intersection of Ohio Route 119 and Ohio Route 29, four miles west of Anna. The guide marker shown faces east so that travelers going northwest on Ohio Route 29 can locate the turn onto Ohio Route 119. This photo was taken in June 2016, as I was taking back roads home from the Columbus area.
