Ohio State Route 329 runs in northern and eastern portions of Athens County (clipping the southwestern corner of Morgan County in the process). The northern end of Ohio Route 329 is at Ohio Route 13 in Trimble, in northern Athens County.  Ohio Route 329 runs easterly, and then southerly, in a circumferential path around the City of Athens. At Amesville, Ohio Route 329 meets Ohio Route 550.  It runs south from Amesville to meet the western end of Ohio Route 144 and to subsequently end at US Route 50.  This endpoint at US Route 50 is in the small town of Guysville, about 9 miles east of Athens.
