Ohio State Route 566 is a short northwest-southeast highway in northern Noble County. The route twists and turns down a country road on the southwest side of Senecaville Lake. It isn't a lake shore drive per se, but it helps serve locales near and along the lake. This is a short distance southeast of Cambridge. The northwestern end of Ohio Route 566 is at Ohio Route 285 just south of Senecaville. The southeastern end is a mere five miles away, at Ohio Route 147 near Mount Ephraim.
My photo for Ohio Route 566 comes from the route's northwestern terminus at Ohio Route 285. Northward travelers on Ohio Route 285 will see this guide marker in the photo, pointing out the turn onto Ohio Route 566's northwestern beginning. This photo was taken during the grand tour of southeastern Ohio in March 2021.
