Ohio State Route 291 parallels Interstate 71 to the west, for four miles in the southern Cleveland suburbs. The northern start is at Ohio Route 17, right along side Cleveland's international airport. The southern end of Ohio Route 291 is at Fowles Road, near an interchange between Interstate 71 and US Route 42. Travelers reaching the southern end of Ohio Route 291 can turn easterly on Fowles Road and southerly on US Route 42 to access that interchange.
