Ohio State Route 605 is a short north-south highway running north out of New Albany, to a point near Sunbury. This is in the northeastern reaches of the Columbus area. The southern beginning in New Albany is in the downtown portion of that city, at US Route 62. Ohio Route 605 starts off toward the north by passing over the Ohio Route 161 freeway (access is provided via US Route 62). Soon, it crosses into Delaware County. Ohio Route 605 then ends at Ohio Route 37 a few miles southeast of Sunbury. The route ends just shy of reaching a length of ten miles.
My photo for Ohio Route 605 comes from the northern end at Ohio Route 37. Westbound travelers on Ohio Route 605 will see the guide marker depicted, pointing out the location of the left turn onto Ohio Route 605. This photo was taken a few miles southeast of Sunbury, in October 2022. I was starting out on my trip around northeastern Ohio from Columbus.
