Ohio State Route 313 runs east-west in east-central Ohio. For a highway numbered in the 300s, it's fairly long. It's found in areas south of Cambridge, and its easternmost stretch follows along the north shore of Senecaville Lake. The western end is at Ohio Route 146, right near the northern end of Ohio Route 284. This is at the small hamlet of Chandlersville, which is ten miles east of Zanesville. Ohio Route 313 gets started here, heading east through an interchange with Interstate 77 to Senecaville. After Senecaville, Ohio Route 313 heads to the lake named for the town. It zigzags along the jagged northern shoreline of Senecaville Lake just before ending at Ohio Route 147.
My photo of Ohio Route 313 signage comes from the eastern end, at Ohio Route 147. This is incidentally at the eastern end of Senecaville Lake. As Ohio Route 147 continues west to hug the south side of the lake, Ohio Route 313 begins here, heading north to turn westerly along the northern side of the lake. The aperture looks west at the signage pointing out the beginning of Ohio Route 313 to westbound travelers on Ohio Route 147. This photo was taken during the grand tour of southeastern Ohio in March 2021. Back to Ohio Routes 300-499. Back to the Ohio main page. Back to the home page.
