Ohio State Route 180 is an east-west highway connecting Ross County to Hocking County. It is instrumental in linking Chillicothe to Logan, though it barely fails to reach both of these communities. The western end is at Ohio Route 159 just northwest of Chillicothe; drivers on Ohio Route 180 are free to use Ohio Route 159 to reach Chillicothe. Ohio Route 180 heads east-northeast to Adelphi and Laurelville, where the Counties of Ross, Pickaway, and Hocking all come together (the route barely clips the southeast corner of Pickaway County). Then, the remainder of Ohio Route 180 is in Hocking County. The eastern end is at US Route 33, a few miles west of Logan. If a driver continues straight on the roadway extending east of the interchange with US Route 33, they will head into Logan on a local road that used to be an alignment of US Route 33.
