​​Ohio State Route 746 runs north-south for 16 miles, in an area east of Marion, Ohio. It rides very close to the boundary between Marion County and Morrow County.  The northern end of Ohio Route 746 occurs where it meets the village of Caledonia, at Ohio Route 309. The southern end is at US Route 42, which by extension provides a connection to the town of Ashley, just to the south.

​My photo for Ohio Route 746 shows an eastbound junction marker announcing the northern beginning at Ohio Route 309, in Caledonia.  Travelers moving easterly Ohio Route 309 will use this signage as a warning that the turn onto Ohio Route 746 is nearby. This photo was taken on the way home from the tour around northeastern Ohio, in October 2022.
