Indiana State Route 58 runs east-west in southwestern and south-central Indiana, from Carlisle to Bedford to the southern end of the Columbus, Indiana area.  The eastern end has a bit of a northeast-southwest tilt, connecting Bedford and Columbus. Much of the route is curvy, jagged, and rural.  Oddly, it stays north of Indiana Route 56, in defiance of Indiana's state highway numbering convention.  The western end is at Indiana Route 63, in Merom, to Indiana Route 11 at Walesboro, just south of Columbus.

My photo of Indiana Route 58 is of the westbound trailblazer coming off of the junction with Indiana Route 159 in Freelandville.  This photo was taken during my tour of southern Indiana at the end of April, 2018.
