^Guide marker on the roundabout at the intersection with the I-94 eastbound ramps, at the interchange near Jackson, April 2021.
Michigan Highway 106 is a highway running northeast from Jackson to the tiny town of Gregory, northwest of Ann Arbor. This rather curvy highway gets its southwestern start as a pair of one-way streets stemming northward out of downtown Jackson. Michigan Highway 50, Business US Route 127, and Business Loop I-94 all meet the southwestern end of Michigan Highway 106. The two one-way streets soon converge, and Michigan Highway 106 is a single highway setting out toward the north. It bends to the northeast, the east, the north, and then to the east again. Michigan Highway 106 meets Michigan Highway 52 at Stockbridge after that. Michigan Highway 106's ultimate goal is to reach Michigan Highway 36 at Stockbridge, where it ends.
My photo of Michigan Highway 106 shows a northbound reassurance marker on the north side of Jackson. Travelers turning northward on to Michigan Highway 106 from Parnall Road will immediately see this southward-facing sign. Interstate 94 lies about a mile to the south. This photo was taken on the way to Metro Detroit in April 2021.
