Ohio State Route 732, situated in extreme western Ohio, connects Eaton to Oxford and points south. Where it exists in Preble and Butler Counties, it is the westernmost north-south numbered highway in Ohio. The northern end of Ohio Route 732 is at the central intersection of Eaton, where it starts out toward the south along US Route 127 (that intersection also involves US Route 35 and Ohio Route 122). Ohio Route 732 splits from US Route 127 after a few blocks, so it can jut southwesterly and do its own thing. Ohio Route 732 serves Lake Lakengren before turning southerly toward Hueston Woods State Park. As an otherwise northerly US Route 27 is cutting northwesterly through Oxford to leave the state of Ohio, Ohio Route 732 proceeds straight south through that town, with a slight westward jog. Ohio Route 732 proceeds for about another eight miles beyond Oxford, ending unceremoniously at a T-intersection with Ohio Route 129, west of Millville.
My photo for Ohio Route 732 comes from the northern end in Eaton. The photo shows the first trailblazer for Ohio Route 732, seen by those turning away from US Route 35 or Ohio Route 122. Note that Ohio Route 732 is concurrent with US Route 127 for this first stretch where US Route 127 carries it to its southwesterly road out of town; the dual trailblazers in the photo reflect this. This photo was taken on my way home from the October 2018 trip to southwestern Ohio (Eaton qualifies more as west-central Ohio).
