Indiana State Route 124 is an east-west route in north-central and northeastern Indiana, beginning in Peru and running nearly due eastward to the Ohio border at Willshire, Ohio. US Route 24 turns from easterly to east-northeasterly in Peru, allowing Indiana Route 124 to take over the role of continuing due east. At the Ohio border, Indiana Route 124 becomes Ohio State Route 81.
My photo of Indiana Route 124 is the westbound trailblazer for Indiana Routes 124 and 116 as they split westerly from Indiana Route 1 in Bluffton. This is the northern extent of the three routes' concurrency together.
