In Indiana, US Route 136 arrives from Illinois near Danville, and heads east along Interstate 74 through Crawfordsville to end at Indianapolis. This is in the western half of Indiana's middle. The eastern end of US Route 136 is at the western leg of Interstate 465 on the west side of Indianapolis, right by where Interstate 74 joins Interstate 465 south.
My photo for US Route 136 is the northbound junction marker on US Route 41 near Veedersburg. Just ahead into the photo, US Route 136 joins US Route 41 north for less than a mile before splitting to continue farther west. The aperture faced north when taking this photo, as the sign faces northbound traffic on US Route 41. The end marker for US Route 136, at the western leg of Interstate 465, appears in the cover photo on the top of the page.
