Ohio State Route 202 runs north out of Dayton to Troy, in west-central Ohio. Ohio Route 202 is very much like Ohio Route 201, which also starts at Ohio Route 4 and runs northward out of Dayton. However, Ohio Route 202 heads more northerly, whereas Ohio Route 201 has a more northeasterly angle out of town. The southern beginning at Ohio Route 4 in Dayton is the same interchange where Ohio Route 201 gets its southern beginning. Ohio Route 202, though, runs north along Old Troy Pike. It more closely parallels Interstate 75 as it runs north, through its own interchange with Interstate 70. Ohio Route 202 ends at Ohio Route 55 on the east side of Troy.
My photo for Ohio State Route 202 signage shows a northbound trailblazer seen by drivers leaving the 4-way intersection at US Route 40. The unincorporated community of Phoneton is anchored at this intersection. This photo was taken just north of Dayton, in February 2016, as I was making my way down the Interstate 70 corridor toward Columbus. Back to Ohio Routes 200-299. Back to the Ohio main page.
