Ohio State Route 771 is a short route northeast of Hillsboro, in northern Highland County. It begins at Ohio Route 138, about eight miles northeast of Hillsboro. Ohio Route 771 heads northwesterly from there to Leesburg. In Leesburg, the northwesterly course of Ohio Route 771 ends at Ohio Route 28. This endpoint is a fraction of a mile east of US Route 62.
My photo for Ohio Route 771 comes from the southern end of the route, at Ohio Route 138. Immediately after a traveler turns off of Ohio Route 138 at this junction, they will see the scene shown above, featuring the first northbound trailblazer on the route. This photo was taken first thing on an October morning 2018, during my trip around southwestern Ohio.
