Indiana State Route 163 is a spur that heads west and east of the expressway portion of Indiana Route 63 in west-central Indiana, just north of Terre Haute. Indiana State Route 163's western end is the Illinois border at the Indiana town of Blanford, and from there, the route heads east through Clinton to end at US Route 41. Indiana State Route 163's most important function is probably to provide a link from Clinton to US Route 41 to the east and to Indiana Route 63 to the west.
My photo for Indiana Route 163 is a southbound guide assembly on Indiana Route 63 announcing the impending intersection. I call this the "approach assembly" as opposed to the guide assembly that sits right at the intersection. Clinton is just to the left (east) and Terre Haute lies ahead (south) into the background of this photo. Back to the Indiana main page. Back to the home page.
