Ohio State Route 559 is a north-south highway west of Maryville. It runs in eastern Champaign County, and in southeastern Logan County. The northern end is at Ohio Route 287, just southwest of Middleburg. From that northern endpoint, Ohio Route 559 runs southerly through North Lewisburg and Woodstock. Those are the two towns in the middle of Ohio Route 559. The southern end lies in Mechanicsburg. It occurs just after joining Ohio Route 29 southeast. Ohio Route 29 crosses Ohio Route 4, but Ohio Route 4 cuts off Ohio Route 559, forbidding it from proceeding further.
My photo for Ohio Route 559 shows the first northbound trailblazer, seen by those departing from the southern terminus in Mechanicsburg. Note that this southernmost stretch of Ohio Route 559 is concurrent with Ohio Route 29. The aperture looks northwesterly from Ohio Route 4. This photo was taken in June 2016 as I was driving back home from the Columbus area.
