Ohio State Route 705 is a thirty-mile east-west route in west-central Ohio. It lies in Shelby County and far northern Darke County. The eastern end is at the northwesterly-running Ohio Route 29, just northwest of Sidney; that means northwesterly travelers on Ohio Route 29, having just come from Sidney, may turn westerly onto Ohio Route 705. Ohio Route 705 then serves Fort Loramie and Osgood. It crosses Ohio Route 118 at the tiny town of New Weston, and then it ends at Ohio Route 49, a few miles east of the Indiana state line.
My photo for Ohio Route 705 shows the first westbound trailblazer, seen by drivers turning off of Ohio Route 29. The aperture, and those reading the signage, face west. This photo was taken on the way home from Columbus in June 2016.
