Michigan Highway 103 is a very short connector to north-central Indiana from US Route 12. The southern end is the Indiana border, where Michigan Highway 103 becomes Indiana State Route 15 bound for Bristol, Indiana. Michigan Highway 103 runs for a mere three miles northward from there, ending in the tiny town of Mottville at US Route 12. Since the northern terminus at US Route 12 is just east of the southern terminus of Michigan Highway 40, I'm not sure why routes 40 and 103 don't share the same number.
My photo of a Michigan Highway 103 marker comes from the northern end at US Route 12, in Mottville. The signage depicted is the eastbound junction marker, alerting eastbound travelers on US Route 12 that the turn onto Michigan Highway 103 is coming up. This photo was taken in February 2019, as I was tooling around far southern Michigan.
