Michigan Highway 211 is a short spur north from the village of Onaway to Onaway State Park, in northeastern Lower Michigan. Michigan Highway 211's southern terminus is at Michigan Highway 68 in Onaway, just barely east of the point where Michigan Highway 33 turns southerly off of Michigan Highway 68 (those two routes are duplexed for a long distance just west of here). The northern end of Michigan Highway 211 is five miles to the north, at the entrance to Onaway State Park.
My photo of Michigan Highway 211 signage comes from the southern terminus of that route, at Michigan Highway 68 in Onaway. The camera was positioned looking right down the main drag through downtown Onaway, occupied by the Michigan Highway 68 designation. The guide assembly shows eastbound travelers on Michigan Highway 68 that Michigan Highway 211 is accessed by a turn to the left at this point. This photo was taken at the very start of August 2022, as I was driving from the Upper Peninsula to the Alpena area.
