Ohio State Route 756 is an east-west route a few miles from the Ohio River, in Clermont and Brown Counties. Ohio Route 756 first splits from Ohio Route 232 between Point Pleasant and Laurel, Ohio. From this western terminus, Ohio Route 756 runs eastward to Felicity, where it meets Ohio Route 133 and Ohio Route 222. After the 8 miles leading up to Felicity, Ohio Route 756 continues for another 5 miles to the east-northeast. The eastern end of the highway occurs at Ohio Route 505 between Hamersville and Higginsport. Many travelers reaching the east end of Ohio Route 756 continue northeast along Ohio Route 505, then southeast on Ohio Route 125, to reach Georgetown.
My photo for Ohio Route 756 comes from the corner of Light Street and Market Street in Felicity. Ohio Route 133 runs north-south through town on Market Street, and it carries Ohio Route 222 into town from the south as well. Ohio Route 222 diverts from Ohio Route 133 by turning left onto Light Street, and Ohio Route 756 comes from the left at the same point. Ohio Route 756's concurrency with Ohio Route 133 lasts for only one block, and Route 756 continues east by making a right turn one block to the north. The signage here faces northbound travelers, letting them know that Ohio Route 222 continues with a turn left at this street, and that Ohio Route 756's eastern continuation is accessed by a right turn at the next street ahead. (The message for Ohio Route 756 westbound hopefully has occurred farther south.) This photo was taken in October 2018 during my trip to southwestern Ohio.
