​Ohio State Route 305 is an east-west route in northeastern Ohio.  In Hiram, Ohio Route 82's eastward course diverts to the southeast, but the road continues east out of town as the first part of Ohio Route 305.  Ohio Route 305 clings to the same latitude for almost all of its route, but it deviates a couple times from that latitude just to come right back.  In other words, the route is almost entirely straight east-west.  Ohio Route 305 serves Southington, Champion, Cortland, and Hartford, before reaching the Pennsylvania border.  The state line marks the eastern end of Ohio Route 305, which becomes Pennsylvania Highway 718.

My photo of Ohio Route 305 comes from its intersection with Ohio Route 282, halfway between Southington and Hiram.  Ohio Route 282 runs north from the intersection where I found this westbound trailblazer in the picture.  This trailblazer helps orient travelers who turned off of Ohio Route 282 toward the west.  This photo was taken during the northeastern Ohio tour of October 2022.
