Ohio State Route 305 is an east-west route in northeastern Ohio. In Hiram, Ohio Route 82's eastward course diverts to the southeast, but the road continues east out of town as the first part of Ohio Route 305. Ohio Route 305 clings to the same latitude for almost all of its route, but it deviates a couple times from that latitude just to come right back. In other words, the route is almost entirely straight east-west. Ohio Route 305 serves Southington, Champion, Cortland, and Hartford, before reaching the Pennsylvania border. The state line marks the eastern end of Ohio Route 305, which becomes Pennsylvania Highway 718.
