US Route 175 is fairly short for a US highway, running southeast out of Dallas to the town of Jacksonville, south of Tyler in eastern Texas.  US Route 175 starts off as a freeway splitting from Interstate 45 just southeast of downtown Dallas.  Interstate 45 and US Route 175 both radiate southeasterly out of Dallas as major highways, but Interstate 45 is more south-southeasterly, whereas US Route 175 is more east-southeasterly.  US Route 175 connects to Kaufman and Athens in Texas before ending in Jacksonville, Texas, at US Route 69.

My photo of US Route 175 was taken before I learned that adding more context would make for a nicer photo.  The photo, showing the junction marker for northeast-bound traffic on Texas State Highway 34, was snapped in Kaufman, Texas in October 2014, along my route returning home from my first Gulf Coast trip.
