Ohio State Route 371 is a tiny spur from Ohio Route 73 in south-central Ohio, meant to provide access to the Shawnee State Forest. The northern end of Ohio Route 371 is in the unincorporated hamlet of Lombardsville. From its point of beginning at Ohio Route 73 in Lombardsville, Ohio Route 371 stems one mile toward the southwest. The route ends at the entrance to the Shawnee State Forest, home of wilderness-based recreational activities.
My photo of Ohio Route 371 signage comes from the northern end at Lombardsville. Eastbound travelers on Ohio Route 73 will use the guide marker shown to locate the right turn onto Route 371, toward Shawnee State Forest. This photo was taken on a westward detour from my trip to southeastern Ohio in March 2021.
