Ohio State Route 799 is a short route to a lake in western Harrison County, Ohio. It runs roughly northeasterly from Ohio Route 800, to cross a bridge over Clendening Lake. It soon ends at County Road 60, a few miles south of Deersville. Ohio Route 799 is used to reach Clendening Lake recreational sites and Tappan Lake Park. It intersects no state highways other than Ohio Route 800.
My photo for Ohio Route 799 signage shows a guide marker seen by those moving southerly down Ohio Route 800. All of the signs aI found in this area had the number "799" written in this stretched-out, wide font. This photo was taken as part of the grand tour around southeast Ohio in March 2021.
