​Ohio State Route 553 is a very short route stemming northwest out of Crown City, on the southeastern edge of Ohio.  Ohio Route 553 runs between Ohio Route 7 in the southeast and Ohio Route 218 in the northwest.  This 3-mile stretch of road is located about 15 miles northeast of Huntington, West Virginia.  Ohio Route 553 is in the southern reaches of Gallia County.
