Ohio State Route 721 is a north-south route hugging the western edge of Miami County. Its southern beginning occurs at a northwestward Ohio Route 49 in the southwestern corner of Miami County. Ohio Route 721 proceeds northerly from there through Potsdam to Laura, where it joins Ohio Route 571 north for a very short concurrency. After meeting the western end of Ohio Route 718, Ohio Route 721 jogs westerly to turn northerly along the Darke/Miami County line. For its final stretch, Ohio Route 721 crosses US Route 36 and passes through Bradford, a county line town if there ever was one. Soon after that, Ohio Route 721 ends at Ohio Route 185.
My photo for Ohio Route 721 shows the northern departure from its 4-way intersection with US Route 36. The signage shown here is a northbound trailblazer for those heading north toward Bradford. This photo was taken in September 2017, on the way home from Columbus via Troy and Bryan.
