Ohio State Route 778 is an extremely tiny connector in north-central Seneca County. Ohio Route 19 goes from southerly to easterly to southerly, and Ohio Route 101 runs northeasterly through the middle of Ohio Route 19's easterly jog. Ohio Route 778 is a southern continuation of Ohio Route 19's original course toward the south, filling in the gap between Ohio Route 19 and Ohio Route 101. On the eastern side, Ohio Route 228 continues north from Ohio Route 19's southern leg, filling in the other gap to Ohio Route 101. Ohio Route 778 isn't even a half mile in length, running between Ohio Routes 19 and 101 in a spot a few miles south of Green Springs, Ohio.
My photo for Ohio Route 778 comes from the southern end, at Ohio Route 101. The picture looks north at the first-- and only-- northbound trailblazer. This photo was taken in October 2023, as I was finishing up northwestern and north-central Ohio.
