Ohio State Route 753 runs north south as a back road through Fayette County and eastern Highland County. It never strays far from Ohio Route 41, and it serves as a sort of alternate to Ohio Route 41. The northern end of Ohio Route 753 is at US Route 62 (and Ohio Route 3) on the northeast side of Washington Court House. From there, Ohio Route 753 bypasses along the eastern edge of Washington Court House, taking a slightly more eastern path than Ohio Route 41 as both routes proceed southward. The two routes converge and share pavement as they enter Greenfield. Beyond Greenfield, Ohio Route 753 takes a more westerly path than Ohio Route 41 does, serving areas of Paint Creek State Park. Then, Ohio Route 753 serves Rainsboro where it meets US Route 50. Finally, Ohio Route 753 encounters Ohio Route 41 once more, north of Sinking Spring. This is where Ohio Route 753 ends, and Ohio Route 41 continues southward on its lonesome.
My photo for Ohio Route 753 comes from Rainsboro, where the state highway meets US Route 50. A southward Ohio Route 753 joins US Route 50 for a short jog west before continuing south. This photo looks north from US Route 50 at the eastern junction with Ohio Route 753, at Rainsboro. The trailblazer depicted reassures travelers who turned north off of US Route 50. This photo was taken in October 2018, during my trip around southwestern Ohio.
