Ohio State Route 158 is a fairly short north-south highway, running about 15 miles east and southeast of Columbus. It can only be found in Fairfield County, and in far southern Licking County. Ohio Route 158 begins at US Route 40 near Kirkersville, or about 15 miles east of Columbus. The route proceeds southerly through an interchange with Interstate 70, bound for Lancaster. In Lancaster, Ohio Route 158 follows Columbus Street, until it ends at the triplicate of US Route 22, Ohio Route 37, and Ohio Route 188.
My photo of Ohio State Route 158 shows the first southbound trailblazer on the route, seen by travelers turning off of US Route 40. This photo was taken toward the tail end of the grand tour of southeastern Ohio in March 2021, as I was beginning to make my way toward home.
