Illinois Route 176 is an east-west route in Lake and McHenry Counties, in the northern and northwestern suburbs of Chicago. It connects many of the small towns strewn along the various lakes in the region.
The western end of Illinois 176 is at Illinois 23, just north of US Route 20 in Marengo:
