^Looking west from Indiana 75 in Flora, August 2024.
Indiana State Route 18 runs east-west across northern Indiana, nearly spanning the entire width of the state with no interruptions. The route reaches the western border near Freeland Park, where it becomes an Iroquois County highway (number 9, to be specific), but the eastern end at US Route 27 in Bryant is cut off by a persistent Indiana Route 67 that takes over the designation of the eastbound roadway. Indiana State Route 18 passes through a great number of towns, including Fowler, Delphi, Marion, and Montpelier.
The original photo for Indiana Route 18 was replaced by a newer photo, but the older photo is still available for viewing at the bottom of this page. The newer photo appears right here.
My newer photo for Indiana Route 18 shows an eastbound trailblazer near Fowler, Indiana. This photo shows the part of the roadway leading eastward, away from an intersection with US Route 41. This scene was encountered on a drive home from Cincinnati in August 2024.
An older photo once took center stage on this page, and that still is visible below.
