US Route 411 runs northeast-southwest as an alternate to US Route 11, running just to the southeast of that parent route. The southwestern end is at US Route 78 in Leeds, Alabama, just to the east of Birmingham. US Route 411 runs northeasterly from there to Gadsden, where it turns easterly. As it crosses Interstate 75 in northwestern Georgia, it turns straight toward the north. US Route 411 regains its signature northeastern angle once it crosses the border into Tennessee. The northeastern end is at US Route 441 in Seymour, Tennessee.
My photo of US Route 411 looks east from Interstate 759 in Gadsden, Alabama. The trailblazer shown is seen right after the exit ramps from Interstate 759, a southern spur of Interstate 59. This picture was taken in January 2019, on the way home from coastal Mississippi. Back to the nationwide main page. Back to the home page.
