Ohio State Route 212 runs northwest-southeast in areas south of Canton, in the rural countryside. The northwestern end is at US Route 250 at Beach City. From there, Ohio Route 212 goes east to cross Ohio Route 93 in the heart of Beach City. The easterly direction continues to Bolivar, where Ohio Route 212 meets Interstate 77. This is where Ohio Route 212 bends into a southeasterly route, passing through Zoar and Sherrodsville. Ohio Route 212 ends in the northwestern corner of Harrison County at Ohio Route 151 in Bowerston.
My photo for Ohio State Route 212 comes from Sherrodville, where it splits from Ohio Route 39. At Sherrodville, Ohio Route 212 comes from the east, and Ohio Route 39 comes from the west; both routes leave town on a wrong-way concurrency to the north. Then, Ohio Route 212 turns back toward the west after a couple miles of going north; the trailblazer in the photo confirms a driver's decision to follow Ohio Route 212 farther west. This photo was taken in October 2022, during the northeastern Ohio trip. Back to Ohio Routes 200-299. Back to the Ohio main page. Back to the home page.
