Michigan Highway 212 is the shortest state highway in Michigan, providing access to Aloha State Park in the far northern reaches of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. The eastern end of Michigan Highway 212 is at Michigan Highway 33, about eight miles south of Cheboygan. From there, Michigan Highway 212 goes west for about three-quarters of a mile, reaching the tiny town of Aloha. Michigan Highway 212 turns southerly in that tiny town to run for just another block or two, ending at the entrance to Aloha State Park.
My photo of Michigan Highway 212 is from the route's eastern end, which occurs at a junction with Michigan Highway 33. The signage depicted is the reassurance marker seen by those who just completed the turn from Michigan Highway 33. This photo was taken at the beginning of August 2022, as part of the trip from the Keweenaw to Drummond Island to Alpena.
