Ohio State Route 600 is a short east-west route serving Gibsonburg in western Sandusky County. The eastern end of Ohio Route 600 is at Hessville, a tiny town along US Route 20. From its eastern terminus at US Route 20, Ohio Route 600 heads west to serve Gibsonburg, where it meets Ohio Route 300. Ohio Route 600 proceeds west from Gibsonburg to end at US Route 23, which runs along the Wood County line. This western terminus is two miles southeast of Pemberville.
My photo for Ohio Route 600 comes from the eastern end, which is the intersection with US Route 20 in Hessville. Those turning off of US Route 20 onto Ohio Route 600 will see the trailblazer shown in the photo, which was taken in October 2016 during my long northward detour from West Virginia to Toledo.
